Who are we?
We are a Performing Arts school offering screen and stage training for children and young performers. We are also planning on offering sessions for adults starting in 2024.
From what age can you join Minwood Lane Drama?
We run a number of sessions for all ages starting with our parent and baby 'Little Individuals' sessions. Our 'drop and go' after school/evening sessions. Our excitable session starts at 4 years old - however, If your child will be turning 4 years old
during term time you intend to start, it will be at the discretion of the principal if they can enrol earlier.
Can we try a Minwood Lane Drama session before committing to a full term?
We currently offer a trial session, this is £10 and payable when you register. Should your child decide to continue with us you will then be invoiced on a monthly basis - fees payable at the beginning of the month.
Do you offer any drama qualifications?
Yes we offer LAMDA training as a separate session - these are charged at a different rate and are available as a private session, or group sessions for 2-5 people.
How long are the sessions?
Excitables session run for 45mins, LAMDA sessions run for 30mins and all other sessions run for 60 mins. Timings vary during run up to filming or a show.
What does my child need to wear to Minwood Lane Drama sessions?
Branded Minwood Lane Drama t-shirt with jogging bottoms/ leggings and sensible footwear such as pumps or trainers.
What should we do if we are unable to attend our usual session?
If you are unable to attend your usual session, please notify the Principal, as soon as possible - giving as much prior notice as possible allows us to plan ahead especially we are usually working towards a end term production or to a film schedule.
How much notice do I have to give should I decide to leave Minwood Lane Drama?
We require 6-8 weeks notice (Half a ter) written notice to the Principal, should you decide to leave Minwood Lane Drama.
